Okay.

So today was a really messed up day. Busy at work, things I thought about that is still messing me up. Then to top it all off, I wanted to get a game for Xbox 360 only to find out that it wasn’t there. Afterwards, I met up with my buddy Keeku and we had NOTHING to do.

What does two young adults do to cheer themselves up? Easy. Watch the video below to see what we did and we’re planning to do in the future.

Flex: Data Grid Demo

So I’ve finally began to really have fun with flex.

I’m still a beginner no doubt, but I’m starting to progress and eventually have apps that I have made on my own.

This is a demo from a tutorial site that I’ve recreated, in order for me to learn how to make a simple DataGrid structure using Item Renderers.

As you can see, it’s just a simple DataGrid, with 3 columns containing information. Very simple indeed.

I’m hoping to post up a more modified version created by myself with different functionality soon.

Have you ever ridden the bus at night, and you stare outside the window. Listening to your Ipod or MP3 player, or whatever while at the same time, everything around you just stops and holds still. For every word that is sung in your ear, to every beat of every drum, you see you images, scenes that visualize in your mind that describe what is going on in the song. But of course, the things that you see, and the music you hear, all relate to your current situation.

I think it’s one of the reasons why I don’t mind taking the bus. I’m able to think and see things I normally couldn’t. I am able to feel emotion that is only brought out by the combination of thoughts and feelings, being fueled by music and scenery.

I want to run.

I try and move.

But,

wherever I go,

I can never escape you.

Decisions. Uncertain.

Dreams. Thoughts.

The snow begins to fall, but I’ve already fallen.

You pulled me here, but throw me away.

Haze. Fog. Confusion.

Time eases all. Minds become clearer, sight is shown to the blind.

Yet, time is the factor in everything that occurs.

Too early or too late, the outcome is the same.

And nothing is ever on

TIME.

Time to spazz it out.

So it begins..

I have been seriously putting this off for months, no, YEARS now, and finally I’ve decided to stop being lazy and just do it. To finally start using a blog to help me relieve all of my thoughts, my feelings, and ideas.

To express the sights and sounds.

To share my past, present and future.

To show my emotions, whether they be bad or good.

My reactions, criticism.

Everything.

To just be.. me.

So much has happened within the past 5 years that I honestly wish I documented all the thoughts and emotions I’ve had. And hopefully, I’ll be able to remember some of them and post them here.

I remember back in the day, when the internet was still fairly new. There was a social community site called Asianavenue.com that connected all Asians around the world. Being on that community helped me express everything that I felt. Everything that I went through I wrote it out for the world to see. And I remember being praised and criticized about the things that I wrote. But, really, why did it matter? It was my life. It was my hopes and dreams that I was spilling out the community and not caring what they thought. It was me letting the world know I existed and that I was unique, that I had a mind of my own.

So now, with this blog, I will try and do my best to do that once more. Using not only words to express my emotions of thought, but also images, videos and music. I will try to convey the whole experience and hopefully give you the journey you deserve that is my life.
